Chat Rooms

Adoption Triad Outreach has eight chat rooms for your use and enjoyment. However, only the All Triad (#adoption) chat room is Hosted. 

ATO offers several other chat rooms for the discussion of sensitive issues, issues that are not appropriate for general triad chat, or topics or issues that would not be understood by the less experienced chatters or newcomers. 

You may connect via, mIRC, Pirch, or through our gateway below.  If you are using WebTV, there is even assistance for you.  Individuals that use a Mac?  Don't fret.  You may even join us.

Here are a few guidelines that you must be aware of before entering our chat rooms.

  1. You must connect using a nick name. "Guest" that enter the room, will be asked to leave and come in with a Nick.

  2. At the discretion of the ATO staff the chat rooms maybe technically monitored for users protection.

  3. All Nick should be registered, once you are connected to the room.  However, this is not mandatory.

  4. By logging on to our chat rooms, you are agree to abide by the ATO.

Assistance With Various Programs

  1. To get to our chat room if you are using Web TV, Click on the button below that says Web TV Instructions.  

  2. Click on the button below for Instructions if you are connecting to the chat room using mIRC.  

  3. If you need instructions on how to download mIRC,  click on the button Download Instructions.   

  4. You may download mIRC  by clicking on the button below that says Download mIRC sites.

  5. Instructions connecting using  Pirch can be viewed by clicking on the button below

     

For any requests not listed here, please visit the starchat web site and email their support crew.  They are very helpful. The URL for starchat is, http://www.starchat.net .

Our Chat Rooms

Adoption Triad Outreach holds hosted chats on most evenings. Stop in and yack with us. If you should have any questions, our abled hosts can be recognized by the ATO next to their names. If you have a specific problem or just need some individual support, feel free to 1-1 any ATO Host and they can assist you or introduce you to some of our ATO family. They would love to share your concerns and thoughts about adoption.

Note - These chat rooms have been established for civil discussion. We appreciate your participation, but require there be no personal attacks, no cussing, no throwing of furniture, etc. We encourage passionate discussion and the right of all to voice their opinion. Attack the issue, not the person! When participating in scheduled chats please stay on topic and accept the guidance of the host. Disruptive behavior is not welcomed or tolerated.
