For a report on non -identifying information write to: The Adoption Option
2600 South Parker Road, Suite 2-320, Aurora, CO 80014,
303-695-1601.
They will send you a form "Formal Request For Non-Identifying Information" for you to fill out. The fee is $100.00 They retype all information so you won't 'accidentally' receive any identifying information. It takes a little over a month to get the requested information.

The Colorado Voluntary Adoption Registry

The address is
Colorado Department of Health,
4300 Cherry Creek Dr. South,
Denver CO 80222-1530
303-692-2188.
This registry is set up so that no one will be notified that another is registered unless all parties to the adoption have consented to the release of that information. So if the Birth Dad was mentioned in the file he too must agree to contact before a match will be made. This is why the private on line Colorado Registry was started.

Colorado Confidential Intermediary Services (CCIS)

Carla Schuh,
POB 260460,

To get this form call,
Bradford Publishing
 303-292-2595, or write to them:
1743 Wazee Street,
Denver, CO 80202.
You can also get this form through any Confidential Intermediary or by contacting the CCIS office.

They have recently increased the fee to $475. $225 goes to CCIS. $150 to the Confidential Intermediary, and $100 to search fees. The increase of $75 goes to CCIS for operating costs. If you can show need, they will reduce the cost. The CI's are well trained, caring, and do find the person you are searching for. The search is done using identifying information.
