When you register, you automatically initiate a search. The Agency Handles
Only State Adoptions. If your adoption was done through a private agency
contact That agency.
The Hick's Adoptees
This is a special site. You will find a registry and also an opportunity
for free DNA testing. This is for adoptees born in McCaysville, GA at the
Hicks Clinic from the 1940s, through the 60s. Dr. Thomas J. Hicks was the
physician who delivered these babies and illegally placed them for adoption.
Bits & Pieces, A Charity
Not only does she have a registry for GA, but NC/SC/MD/VA & DC as well.
She also does free DOB searches for her registrants if they have enough info
to run.
