The Salvation Army USA-East has put up a
search page TODAY, Thursday March 22, 2001 to help Adoptees and Birth
Families reunite!!! There is a form to fill out for your information. When
this is received a search is conducted for the records. This is FREE!!! This
is not a registry, it is an actual records search!!!. If your records are in fact with the Booth Maternity Home or
Hospital you will get a
COPY OF THE FILE!!!
All records are on microfilm and will be made available to those directly
connected with individual adoption cases. Most of the Salvation Army Booth
Homes and Hospitals are either closed or are being run by other medical
groups. BUT.....there are records and those records include all kinds of
Information.
This site is for the EASTERN USA only. However, there are contacts for ALL AREAS OF
THE USA.
