Birth $11.00 Death $11.00 Divorce $8.00 Marriage $11.00. 
There is an additional fee of $11.00 for a 10-year search. They do not accept personal checks send a money order. 
A SASE is required. It will take 4 to 6 weeks to get any of these. 
Make check or money order payable to 
Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Divorce Index is only available since 1952. 
Certified copies are not available from the State office. 
To get them you must send your request to the 
Registrar of Probate Court in the county where the divorce was granted. 
The fee is $3.00.

The Massachusetts Archives at Columbia Point,

The Archives contains the registration books of births, marriages and deaths for all Massachusetts cities and towns, 1841 through 1905. 
Certified copies are $3.00 each,
 microfilm prints are $0.50 each.
