State office has had birth and death records since late 1904. 
If the birth or death occurred before 1904, write the county office for information. 
They will charge you whether they find the person you are looking for or not.

State office has divorce and marriage records since January 1909. If the records are not available at the State office, they should be available from the Clerk of District Court in the county where the divorce or marriage license was granted.
